We provide a wide range of human factors consultancy services to train manufacturers and operators.  This includes whole cab design solutions, passenger environment design, individual equipment design, as well as the assessment of driver performance and human error.

How we can help

We are conversant with the Network Rail and London Underground standards relating to the human factors design of rolling stock.  We have previously assessed the comprehensiveness of the Network Rail rolling stock standard and developed the London Underground rolling stock design guidance document.

We understand the complexities and restrictions of cab design and train driving operations.  We have considerable experience in cab assessment and design, for example:
