New or recent graduates
With a recent first degree, preferably graded 2:1 or higher, in an engineering discipline, ergonomics, psychology or risk, you should be looking to become a junior consultant in one of our global technical consultancy businesses. You will need to be highly articulate, both with colleagues and clients, capable of working in a fluid team environment and willing to work to challenging client deadlines. In return, you will receive a structured career development programme and the opportunity for short- to long-term overseas assignments as part of our growing portfolio of international projects.
Consultants and Senior Consultants
You will have five or more years experience in the railway industry or another high technology sector that demands a high integrity approach to the management of risk and safety. You will possess a degree in an engineering discipline, ergonomics, psychology or risk and will possess, or be working towards, membership of a suitable professional institution. With experience of a consulting environment, you will be highly articulate, both with colleagues and clients, capable of working in a fluid team environment and willing to work to challenging client deadlines. Principal Consultants
You will have 10 or more years experience in the railway industry or another high technology sector that demands a high integrity approach to the management of risk and safety. You will be at the forefront of your discipline and recognised by your peers as an industry expert. You will be an active member of a suitable professional institution. With significant experience of the consulting environment, you will be highly articulate and capable of both leading complex projects in your discipline and working as part of a team. In return, we will help you to maintain the currency of your competence whilst increasing its breadth. The projects you work on will also reflect your class-leading skills and give you the opportunity to create solutions to complex problems at an international level.
We have a highly competitive remuneration package, which includes company bonus and pension schemes. We also sponsor further education through the use of part time courses and give individuals the opportunity to relocate on long-term overseas assignments.
